Trainer:

Welp is the nickname she got stuck with because she was the whelp of the family. She's not very fond of them.

To put it simply, Welp is a normal girl with big dreams and physcotic pokemon. She never expected being a trainer would be so...dangerous. Its suprising that she is still alive. From the all the choas that ensues, she doesn't have the time to make herself look tidy and having a sense of humor usually risked her being thrown over a cliff. Since nine, Welp's been in the training business and knows a few tricks up her sleeve...most of it is how to get free food though.

As of now, Welp has entered the contest only because she was tricked by her friend, Liz, that it was a food-tasting contest and she was hungry at the time.

Also, due to an incident with chestnuts roasting on an open fire and a growlithe, she has a phobia of fire and, therefore, loathes fire pokemon.

Accessories:

Proto-type Pokedex:After her constant nagging of wanting a pokedex, the professor quickly gave her an unfinished pokedex and kicked her out of the lab. This stupid device is highly vague when it uploads pokemon data ( dex: pikachu, H:tiny, W: light, Attacks: sucky)

Wallet with theif-proof chain: A wallet that her self-proclaimed "rival" can't steal when they meet.

Lucky neck tie: It's lucky. The end.

Bag: she does have a bag (big, dark purple-looking thing with lots of stitched up patches), but after the millions of times that its been stolen, destroyed, eaten, etc., she lets her most responsible pokemon, Bulby, hold on to it. It hasn't been lost since. Some useful stuff inside the bag:
Berry pouch (10x each)- colbur, yache, sitrus, chesto, and pecha berries
Medic pouch -15x moomoo milk, 5x full heal, 20x full restore, 5x max revive, 10x revive
Extra: maps of all regions, mini camping set, flashlight, pokemon snacks (for bribing/distracting), first aid kit (mostly for Welp)

Alternate Outfit:

On very rare occasions, when the mind does weird things, Welp will make herself look pretty and do normal people stuff like go on dates or have shopping sprees until the mind returns to normal. Also, the pjs are for hot summer nights.

Pokemons:

Torterra/Ragel (F): A sweet but emotionally unstable gal where one moment she's cheery and then the next she's trying to bite your head off....But between all those hormones is a sharp mind (somewhere) and rarely gets tricked, confused, bedazzled. The only one she acts normal around is Bardment

Ability: Overgrow / Item: Focus Sash/ Nature: Bashful
Attacks: Eartquake, Crunch, outrage, wood hammer

Venusaur/Bulby (M): Being the first companion Welp has had, these two share a very strong bond of friendship. A little too strong, perhaps, as Bulby believes in nothing but the power of friendship and will get overexcited when the word is mentioned, which results in property damage.

Ability: Overgrow / Item: Black Sludge /Nature: Serious
Attacks: Frenzy plat, earthquake, sleep powder, sludge bomb

Gengar/Garsgen (M): Just one of the many pesky ghosts in the world. Most of his free time involves pulling pranks on unsuspecting(sleeping) victims. His face is disfigured due to being unprepared against fighting his first dark pokemon. He doesn't mind though since it scares little kiddies.

Ability: Levitate / Item: Colbur Berry / Nature: Mild
Attacks: hypnosis, shadow ball, dream eater, thunderbolt

Gastrodon/Bardment (M): A runt compared to everyone else and doesn't like to be told about it (will throw tantrums). Hates the color pink, sings in his sleep, and hates fire pokemon just as much as Welp. Is the only water pkmn that can put up with everyone's craziness

Ability: Sticky / Hold Item: Quick Claw / Nature: Hasty
Attacks: earth power, surf, recover, ice beam

Tyranitar/Riptorn (F): Riptorn had just evolved and loving every minute of it. She's been bred to fight but unfortunately is naive as hell and paid the price with part of her tail. Riptorn doesn't say much and thinks with her stomach which leads to her having the strangest appetite Welp has seen yet. ( This includes vases, anything purple, books, and Bulby's giant pink flower)

Ability: Sandstream / Item: Expert Belt/ Nature: Adament
Attacks: earthquake, crunch, aqua tail, stone edge

Fearow (F): The most vicious pokemon Welp has ever met and unfortunately caught. Likes to gouge out eyeballs and eat prey alive, usually the cute and fluffy ones. Due to fearow's erratic flight patterns, Welp has recently quit using her for transportation. The only reason Fearow hasn't harmed Welp yet is because of the free food.

Ability: Keen Eye / Item: Sharp Beak / Nature: Impish
Attacks: roost, drill peck, u-turn, steel wing
