Well, I wanted to try something different and draw without black outlines and this picture took me longer than I thought. *sighs* But I made in time, so yay! I would like to also mention that drawing a comic this....slim was a new experience for me.....and I don't think I'll be doing it again anytime soon.

Also, I like to would to apologize if Jacob seems like too much of a jerk in this comic. From his earlier egotistical picture, I could only interpret him in this way.

But moving on, I think the explanation of the battle would help make some sense as well

Welp finds that sunscreen is very helpful during bright sunny days and wonders why her pokemon don't want any...

So before we grow old from her useless attempts of sunscreening everyone, Jacob asks Welp if they can hurry and get started.....in a very not nice at all way.

This Pisses Bulby off (gonna show 'em who's boss, you know) and starts off with a tactical sleep powder. Bill, unfortunately, is unaffected (probably because he had a lot of caffeine before battle). How do you even dodge powder?

Anyway, Bills soars into Bulby's face and before you know it, he flashes him. Now the big, blue oaf is blind. Great. This gives Bill an opportunity to attack and crunches in to the Venusaur's arm (possibly breaking a bone or two, the poor bastard).

Before carnivine can possibly do any more damage as he intended with giga drain, Welp commands Bulby to do something that would, to any other spectator, to be......highly irrational. Nonetheless, Bulby "shakes it like you just don't care". This causes the venusaur's held item, black sludge to pour all over carnivine as well as into his mouth. And I don't know about you, but if you ate sludge, I bet you would be poisoned too, or at least have the worst gosh darn stomache ache you ever did have.

Jacob, not wanting to waste time thanks to the poison, tells Bill to fire a solar beam at him as he doesn't want to risk another bite, giga drain would take forever to kill Bulby (and we wouldn't want Bulby to have smidgen of a chance to counterattack after that either), and he's totally blind. Its not like the dinosaur can see where Bill is aiming at him....right?

Wrong. Being part plant, Venusaurs can sense sunlight, a.k.a solar bloody beam, pinpointing to exactly where Bill is. To stop Bill from finishing off Bulby, the venusaur attacks with frenzy plant and lets the vines coil around the carnivine, shutting his mouth in the process and successfully keeping him from firing.

And now that Bulby has him in his grasp with Carnivine struggling to get out but unable to do anything (which gives Bulby a chance to recharge if you want to get technical, grrr) , He finishes him off with sludge bomb. The end.

If only Bulby just did that in the first place, we wouldn't have problems like these, geeze.
